Even with the most advanced tools, success is not guaranteed.

It’s a common assumption that I hear: if you license the right tool, your project will run smoothly.

BitTitan ShareGate, and Azure Migrate all provide strong platforms that I use regularly as part of my stack.

I’ve seen migrations fail, even with the best tools available. And others succeed, despite using far less sophisticated tools.

The key factor in migration was not the software, but whether it had been planned properly – mapping dependencies and validating data before anyone touched a tool.

The tools are only a part of the plan and do not replace it.

If the first question you ask in your migration strategy is “What tool are we using?” You have forgotten an important element that will determine its success: communication about the move with employees.
