3 risks to migration, no matter the scale

It doesn’t matter whether there are 10 or 10,000 users — the same risks always lurk beneath the project:

1. Data loss and corruption – If the transfer was not accurate, it would have a direct impact on the system.
2. Downtimes and Business Disruptions — Even a short interruption has ripple effects on whatever depends on this system
3. Access and Identity Issues — If people can’t access what they require, the migration will fail regardless of what project plan is said.

Experience does not eliminate these risks. Experience only changes the way they are managed before they become incidents.

Migration risk is inevitable. It is optional.
