Cloud migration is more of an ongoing process than most people realize.
There’s an assumption that cloud migration is mostly completed; most organizations have made their transition, leaving maintenance work as the remaining priority.
That doesn’t reflect reality; many environments have only partially transitioned, run hybrid systems or carried over legacy systems that never quite made the leap to digital transformation.
Meaning the work is still ongoing: organizations are still migrating remaining workloads into the cloud, optimizing what already resides there and consolidating platforms that have grown separately over time.
Migration demand isn’t a fleeting fad: companies will continue to need this capability indefinitely and not as a short-lived trend.
