MigrationWiz supports pre-stage migration passes, incremental runs that move data older than a defined cutoff date before the cutover window. In two acquisition migrations, I used 90 day, 60 day, and 30 day pre-stage passes for 300 plus accounts, and those three pass sets finished in under 3 weeks.

Throughput makes the case on its own: a 10GB mailbox typically takes about 4 to 6 hours in MigrationWiz depending on EWS throttling from the source tenant. Multiply that by 300 mailboxes and an overnight single-pass cutover becomes mathematically impossible.

Pre-stage passes move the bulk of historical data ahead of time. Then, on cutover night, the delta pass only processes mail received since the last pre-stage run, usually small enough to complete in hours rather than days.
