Does your migration plan have a structured Hyper Care window, or does support just go back to the help desk on day one?
Post-cutover is where the real work starts. I provided first-line remote troubleshooting as part of a formal Hyper Care agreement for the week following cutover.
The issues that surface in that window are specific: users who can’t access shared mailboxes because the target tenant permissions weren’t replicated, OneDrive sync client failures after the UPN change, Teams channels showing as empty because the migration job completed but the manifest wasn’t fully processed.
None of those are random.
They’re predictable if you’ve done enough cutovers to know which workload combinations produce which failure patterns. That’s what Hyper Care experience actually builds.
What does your post-cutover support model look like for the first 7 days?
