BitTitan Migration Documentation You Will Need for Audits and Compliance Reviews

If you close out a BitTitan migration without capturing documentation as you go, compliance and audit teams may come back six months later asking for evidence you can no longer easily produce.

Post-project audits are common in enterprise migrations, especially in regulated industries and acquisition scenarios where the migration supports a divestiture or integration agreement. Auditors typically want to know what moved, when it moved, who performed the work, and what issues occurred along with how they were resolved.

BitTitan project exports are the foundation for that package because they contain the raw details: per-user status, item counts, data volumes, timestamps, and error codes. Those exports should be captured and retained as part of closure, since the BitTitan portal does not guarantee indefinite data retention after a project is deleted.

In addition to the exports, a complete migration record should include the migration runbook, pre-migration environment assessment results, cutover communications, the Hyper Care issue log, and a formal migration completion sign-off from the business owner.

If you collect this material during the project, assembling the package takes hours. Trying to recreate it months later from memory and partial records is far more difficult. Make documentation capture a standard part of project close before the migration team disperses.

Do you already have a defined post-project documentation package for your BitTitan migration that covers what audit and compliance teams will request?
