Are you running BitTitan migration jobs overnight without configuring email alerts for error thresholds?

BitTitan supports email notifications at both the account level and the project level. You can trigger notifications on job completion, job failure, or when the error count in a batch exceeds a defined threshold. Without those settings, a job that fails at 3 AM during an overnight pre-stage pass can sit untouched until someone checks the portal the next morning.

The alert that tends to matter most operationally is the error threshold notification, set to fire when more than a certain number of jobs in a project enter a failed state. In a 300 account migration, a threshold of 10 failed jobs is worth waking up for. A threshold of 1 usually creates noise from minor throttling events that often resolve on their own.

Completion notifications for pre-stage passes also help, since they confirm the pass ended successfully without requiring manual portal checks before you kick off the next pass.

By default, BitTitan sends notification emails to the account email address. For migration programs run by a team, route notifications to a shared distribution list rather than a single person’s inbox.
