Are your Exchange to M365 mailbox migrations failing in the incremental pass because the source was never properly assessed?
In the past, I migrated 200-plus Exchange mailboxes to M365 using BitTitan MigrationWiz. Three checks run before I touch the tool: license availability in the target tenant for every account, Autodiscover validation for the source Exchange environment, and a test migration on 3-5 accounts representing different mailbox size categories.
The license check sounds obvious. Teams skips it constantly. You can’t complete a mailbox migration to M365 if the destination account doesn’t have an Exchange Online license assigned at job start.
The Autodiscover check catches source environment misconfigurations that will cause MigrationWiz to fail on credential validation (before you’ve invested time in the full migration batch setup).
The test accounts are your actual pilot. They tell you real throughput rates, which drives your scheduling math for the full batch.
What pre-migration validation checks are you running before you start your Exchange to M365 jobs?
