MigrationWiz offers a truly excellent service. I use this tool as a primary project tool at multiple companies. It performs consistently. This consistency is precisely why, when migrations go wrong, the tool is seldom the cause.

Autodiscover settings, shared mailbox permissions or delegating mailboxes are often the root causes. Issues that are not resolved by migration tools.

At one company, we had a runbook-development practice that identifies these variables well before the first batch is run — not when cutting over at 2am.

They buy the liscence. They underinvest on the engineer responsible for coordinating stakeholder communication and running the pre migration scan.
