Are you running your MigrationWiz cutover in alphabetical order and treating sequencing as a default setting instead of a deliberate choice?
Alphabetical sequencing is the unchallenged default for many cutovers, and in most environments it should not be. There is no reason to believe the A-through-D block of your directory happens to contain the accounts that deserve to go first. That is usually just coincidence.
The sequencing logic I use starts with identifying which accounts are most likely to generate post-cutover support calls. Executives who have dedicated IT support available during the maintenance window get migrated early so any issues surface while support is present. Shared mailboxes with more than 10 active delegates go last, after individual mailboxes are stable and delegate access can be validated against a clean baseline.
Within the bulk population of standard user mailboxes, order is generally flexible inside the batch structure. The decisions that matter most are at the high-risk edges of the user population.
On a 300-account cutover with a 10-engineer team, sequencing only worked because it was documented in the migration runbook before the cutover window opened. Trying to invent the order live while you are also watching throughput and responding to issues is not a workable plan.
What sequencing logic are you using for your MigrationWiz cutover pass, and where is it written down?
