Login to Windows Server as an Administrator

Sign into Windows Server 2025 by using an administrator’s account.

Open Server Manager

Click on Start, then server manager.

Accessing the System Properties

Click on Server Manager

You can either click the computer name section or, if you click this PC from the desktop, select properties. Next, click advanced system settings.

Join Domain – Change Domain Settings

In the Windows System Properties, click the ComputerName tab and then click Change….

Enter domain name

Enter the domain name in (DomainName.Extension).

Click , OK.

Provide Credentials

Enter the user name and password when prompted.

Click , OK.

Start the server

If you successfully join a domain, your server will prompt you to restart. Click Start Now in order to make changes.
