If a MigrationWiz job finishes with a completed status but shows zero items migrated, this is usually the reason.

When a job completes and migrates nothing, it almost always comes back to one of two scenarios. The first is the date range: the mailbox simply has no items that fall within the migration pass window. A 30-day pre-stage pass run against a mailbox created 15 days ago will correctly find nothing to move, log zero migrated items, and still close as complete. It looks like a failure only if you do not compare the mailbox creation date to the pass date range.

The second common cause is that ApplicationImpersonation is not properly resolving to that mailbox. In Exchange Online, impersonation assigned at the database level does not always propagate reliably to mailboxes that have been moved into that database from another database within the past 24 hours.

Before treating a zero-item result as a project-level configuration problem, validate impersonation at the individual mailbox level for any account that you have confirmed contains mail.
